I am an MSK Pain and Injury Therapist and Running Coach with 25 years clinical experience and a lifelong passion for the great outdoors. I specialise in treating a wide variety of joint and soft tissue related problems, both sporting and non-sporting, using advanced soft tissue therapy techniques and utilising the principles of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation [link to DNS page] to strengthen and rehabilitate.

I don’t just talk the talk – I am a keen and active participant in triathlon. I’m always at my happiest when running in the hills but have also spent many hours cycling and open water swimming. Much of my running has been done in the company of my faithful springer spaniel, Stanley and not so faithful fox terrier, Hamish.

Amongst my previous achievements the Himalayan 100-mile ultra- trail race, the Celtman Xtreme Triathlon, Wasdale X Ironman Triathlon, the Dragon Duathlon and the Tour of the Highlands Sportive rank as my top five achievements but I have also completed many marathons, including the Glencoe Gathering, Scafell Pike, Brecon Beacons, and Exmoor Coastal marathon.
